The gentle sound of the water feature nearby and the birds´ enthusiastic conversation definitely help one to forget about the drudgery of everyday life, and to focus on the beauty of the Klein Karoo and this charming hideaway instead.
Don´t forget: The spekboom lapa (round enclosure) in the garden just below Mieta se huisie features a quaint pebble mosaic floor that echoes the peach pip floors in the cottage. It is the ideal place to watch the sunset with a chilled bottle of white wine close at hand.
